2024 Vinework Sauvignon Blanc
An intriguing expression of Sauvignon Blanc, bright fruit layered with complex textural elements which culminate in a crisp, dry, persistent finish. The lively palate is medium bodied offering tangy citrus characters and crunchy tropical fruits, layered with a bit of creaminess derived from lees stirring.

Tasting Notes
Colour:Pale straw with slight green tinge.
Nose:Lemon drop, white peach, passionfruit curd and jasmine floral notes, all tied together by an aromatic lemongrass lift.
Palate:The lively fresh palate is medium bodied, showing notes of ripe lime, white fleshed stone fruits, passionfruit curd and hints of tropical fruits. The subtle oak influence adds complexity and texture, with the crunchy acidity building out the persistent palate length.

Winemaking Notes:All fruit was pressed without crushing. 80% of the settled, clean juice was then fermented at 15°C in stainless steel tanks using aromatic yeast strains. 20% was wild barrel fermented to develop complexity.
